I often went on solitary walks through farm fields near our country home in the Tavistock area of southern Ontario, Canada. I loved the secret places I happened upon, whether a bunny in tall grasses or a fish quietly sunning itself in a reedy stream. I have tried to recreate the calm of these hidden moments in Blue Meadow.
As a multidisciplinary artist, I am driven by experimentation. I play with different combinations of materials and love the challenge of exploring abstraction in the natural world.
