Jade loves the challenge of exploring abstract concepts in unusual ways within the rhythm of our natural world.
Her plasters, abstracts, and botanicals highlight nature, sometimes smudged white and other times colourfully promenaded.
Jade’s pet portraits and memory frames reflect people’s love and deep connections to their animals.
Her hand-made pet memorial frame is a unique product that holds precious memories, celebrating a pet’s life in an artistic and heartfelt way. It is discreetly attached to the back of the pet’s portrait frame, a subtle yet meaningful reminder of their presence.
Creativity is in all of us, delighting us and enhancing our lives. Follow Jade as she explores life in artistic and creative ways.
Artist Interrupted
Jade was born into an artistic family in Ontario’s rural Tavistock area.
Her work is influenced by nature and an early exposure to contemporary art during the 1980s, in her 17th year, when an art scholarship at Toronto’s Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) forever advanced her artistic expression.
2012, she won the Juror’s Choice Award at Toronto’s Papermill Gallery. After a pivotal brush with death in 2022, Jade has returned to fulfill her professional artistic career.
Her artwork is in private collections and interior design projects, and her animal portraits are on many a tabletop.
Jade’s wall art for interior designers is competitively priced, saving your clients US shipping and customs charges that accompany commonly used prints.
Art canvases and wood panels are 1.5″ in depth so there is no need for a frame, and all artworks are ready to hang. Please visit Jade’s Studio in Old South, London.
Projects shine with authentic handmade artwork.
